We're now in Neifu in Vava'u. We've been on the boat for 4 nights and have another 4 to go so are re-watering and provisioning. It is hot hot hot -- and humid, and we're all burning like crazy, but having a great time! Will update again in a few days . .

Melo a lei lei!

We've arrived in Tonga, and it is a real adventure. It's like going back 50 years, except for the bits of modern technology that you see around. We walked through Nuku'alofa, which is the main village on Tongatuva. Didn't take long, so we're now resting back at the hotel to get out of the heat and humidity. Our flight to Vavu'a tomorrow has changed twice this morning, so we're not sure what time we'll get in. We'll try and meet Mom and Dad at the airport tomorrow morning and see what we can negotiate! Not sure how many more updates there will be, but you never know your luck in a small South Pacific Island!

KLS heading out

OK, sorry again for delayed posting, but really life is pretty boring except when we do big events like endurance racing!

Another 12-hour this weekend -- this time the Gravity 12 hour in Rosewhite (near Myrtleford about 3.5 hours from Melbourne).

We raced in three teams -- The Rusty Demons (David, Brad and Matt), Freddy Massage Service (Cameron, Stewart and Simon) and Formerly Four (Victoria, Andrew and myself).

A welcome addition to the endurance bunch was Andrew, who arrived from New Zealand (from Canada) on 7 days before, and who was quickly relied on to complete laps.

It was a great day, with over 500 racers, although 35oC was a little hot!
