david-finish6hr
Well, another weekend and we're still catching up on the blog. Last weekend, we went to Beechworth and competed as a mixed double team in the "Six Hours In The Saddle (SHITS)" endurance event.
It was hot (35oC), and I didn't do my best race ever, but it was nice to race with David and we have learned some more techniques to do better next time! More photos posted -- click on the picture.

not moving fast
I'm actually going about 3km/hr in this photo -- that's why David has gotten me so clear . . or maybe it was because this was our second set of 5km straight uphill climbs in a 30km ride, so I might have been tiring. But wait, this was all before the 15 creek crossings and the technical (ie. walking carrying the bike) bit through the horse-riding trails down the mountain (as it was getting dark). You can see those photos here. Oh yes, this was last weekend at Mt Buller. We decided maybe the camera could stay home this weekend instead of coming to Redesdale with us. . .
