Well finally (hopefully) our last weekend of unpacking has passed! Now all that is left is to enjoy all that Melbourne's central business district has to offer.
It is suprisingly quiet -- like quieter then when we were in Richmond! And yesterday I popped out to the shops for 30 minutes, of which 25 minutes was shopping! Very nice.
The things I haven't figured out that bother me are recycling (which doesn't appear to be supported in our building, which is distressing) and mail arriving at our apartment.
It appears it is going into the box noted "5" which has also been covered with sticky numbers saying "401" -- however we were given the key noted "4" which is covered with sticky numbers say "402". This doesn't include the other 4 boxes, which have varying degrees of numbers/letters/inscriptions on them.
Fortunately, we looked at this, and this is why we set up the post office box -- however apparently some mail has arrived for we can see a letter in box 5/401 for us.
Hope it isn't a bill!

PS. Happy August!
Sorry if you logged on and had some troubles -- in the chaos that is my life I forgot to renew the domain name -- so ended up in bad DNS land for awhile. Anyway, the good news is that there was no cyber squatter hoping to get it (not surprisingly . . ), so I'm back!
We moved this weekend!! "Yeah!" Well "Yeah!" that it is done. "Yeah!" that we don't have to do it for at least another 12 months. And "Yeah!" that we got rid of lots of junk -- split evenly between the garbage depot and the Salvation Army.
My favorite moment was when a Salvation Army employee saw one of my old hats and pounced on it, put it on and said "Look at me -- I'm going to the Cup this year!"
Anyway, living in the city is FANTASTIC! The only problem is I don't want to do anything else but unpack!
