David's family for Anne's 60th
After a quick stop in Hong Kong, I flew into Melbourne on Saturday, and got in the car to go to Anne's 60th in Drouin. Was a cold, but nice day.
Ember
Had a great, if not quick, visit back to Canada to see my family. Here's a picture of my little niece, Ember, who at 2 and 1/2 is quite a handful.

Watching the kites
Finally got to spend a few hours at home getting the pictures off the camera and getting them up on the website.
There are photos of Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Singapore, Indonesia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which pretty much was March for me. You might see the same guy in some of the photos -- fortunately, David was able to join me in Hong Kong and Singapore/Indonesia, or it would have been pretty horrible!
Probably best to follow this link, as they're a little random on the Flickr photostream --> http://www.flickr.com/photos/klsinclair/tags/
Off to Philippines and Hong Kong again tomorrow, so will update with the next set of adventures shortly . .

Sounded like a good idea at the time
David and I had a fantastic 10-year "mini" holiday away in Hong Kong last weekend. Included in the 4-day trip was a run from Magazine Gap (ridge line looking into Hong Kong itself) down (and up and down and up and down) to Stanley.
We are both still aching a few days later, but it was a beautiful day and you can see lots of pictures (intermixed with Vietnam) by clicking the picture -->
Am in Shanghai, so more pictures will come up shortly -- these are from the Blackberry, better quality ones will come as well.

More motorcycle craziness
Sorry for the delay in posting -- had some problems getting pictures off my Blackberry. Here is one from my trip to Saigon (or the "modern" name of Ho Chi Minh City which I don't like). You haven't seen anything until you see traffic in Saigon -- it is 90% motorcycles and there are very few rules, traffic lights or systems.
They only introduced helmets at the beginning of February 2008 -- and that was only for adults, so you see children as young as 12 months being carried on bikes without helmets.
It is truly horrifying, but also fascinating!

Coloured windows in Singapore
Just returned from another trip to KL and Singapore. Unfortunately the KL pictures were corrupted for some reason, but there are lots of Singapore. Did a few customer visits (the construction site shots), and we also had a Chinese New Year dinner in Chinatown which was fantastic.

Random Hong Kong shot
Spent a weekend in Hong Kong. Ran Victoria's Peak (which really wasn't a good time) and generally tried to live the life of a local. These was one of the random shots wandering through the streets at night . . . More pictures by clicking on the photo
